battery pack provides more than 24 hours* of operation at 25 degrees
Celsius. For the U.S.A. version, the CM-165, rechargeable 1200 mAh
Ni-Cd battery pack, is available for 8 hours* of operation.

Waterproof
For the IC-GM1500/E, waterproof means resistance to water intrusion
even while completely submerged - prevents water entery for at least
5 minutes at a depth of 1 metre.
Compact Size
The IC-GM1500/E is significantly smaller than othr currently
available survival craft radios. Dimensions are 68.5 by 45.3 by 215
mm.
